I love these lists and it looks like both John Sickels and Kevin Goldstein agree on the top three Pirates prospects. Sickels recently unveiled his list and his top three matches Goldstein’s from the week before. Andrew McCuthcen is the lone Pirate to get an A- rating and Brad Lincoln (B+) and Brent Lillibridge (B) round out the top three. Unfortunately, it goes downhill from there. Neil Walker is fourth with a B- and no other Pirate rates above a C+. Sickels overall rating is pretty poor for the Pirates, which is discouraging for a team that’s been getting good draft picks and trading their star power for prospects.
