This hurts. The Pirates first round draft pick last year, Brad Lincoln, is going to have elbow surgery which will cause him to miss the entire 2007 season. All signs pointed to his rehab working but it looks like there was a set back.
And not to knock Lincoln, but the Pirates took him over guys like Andrew Miller and Clayton Kershaw. Miller could be in our rotation right now but the Pirates must have been scared because of the amount of money he was probably looking for. Hopefully Lincoln can make it back from this because in a few years, we’ll be needing him.
