Pirates Journal

The Pirates won their eleventh game of the spring with a ninth inning rally.  Paul Maholm got the start and while he lasted five innings, he gave up three runs. He gave up five hits and a walk and he struck out five.  Joel Hanrahan threw two shutout innings and Chris Leroux struck out three and gave up a run in his two innings of relief.

Ryan Doumit went two for four with two RBIs in the win.  Neil Walker went two for three with a run.
